Burglars Take $18,196 In Property From Local Business

SMITHFIELD – Police detectives are investigating a business break in discovered at 6:42am Monday, January 23. Smithfield police were dispatched to Polo Ralph Lauren at 1205 Outlet Center Drive for a burglary.

Officers found the front glass door shattered. After reviewing video surveillance footage, they determined three unknown suspects broke into the business and stole $18,196.70 in clothing items.

They fled in a dark color SUV. Police said the suspects were completed covered by clothing and masks and their identity is still unknown.

Investigators did seized a hood with a suspected blood stain on it as evidence.

  1. This is the new norm and is only going to get worse. When they can no longer hit the stores, they are coming to rural areas to hit homes and businesses. Biden administration wants you vulnerable and defenseless so that you will submit to government.
