Buies Creek – Nine Camels knocked in runs and Campbell completed the sweep over North Carolina A&T with a 15-3 Sunday win at Jim Perry Stadium.
Campbell moved to 11-10 overall with the win, while A&T dipped to 4-17. The Camels also claimed Friday night’s opener 10-8 and Saturday’s game 14-1.
Campbell batted around in the first and the fourth. CU scored five while sending 10 batters to the plate in the first, while the Camels plated eight runs in the fourth with 12 coming to the dish.
Matt Parrish and Zach Minnick both knocked in three in the win. Parrish went 2-for-2, while Minnick went 2-for-5. Both scored twice. Minnick extended his hitting streak to 12 games, while Parrish stretched his own streak to 10.
Minnick doubled in two in the first, also driving in one on a fielder’s choice in the fourth. Parrish picked up a two-run double in the fourth and drew a bases loaded walk in the first for the game’s first run.
Junior Snow, Brian Taylor and Jimmy Monaghan all scored twice in the win, while Adam Wyse added a pair of RBI.
Michael Horrell (2-3) picked up the win, working eight innings with three runs, two earned, on eight hits with four strikeouts and a walk. Junior Snow pitched the ninth, giving up just a hit with a strikeout.
Kaeson Wilson (1-3) was charged with the loss, surrendering 12 runs, 11 earned, on seven hits with three strikeouts and six walks for the Aggies.
Forest Kimbrell was 2-for-3 with a RBI and a run for the Aggies at the plate, while James Rorie knocked in two, going 1-for-4.
The Camels will be on the road next week, heading to North Carolina Central on Tuesday, March 22, before kicking off Big South play at Charleston Southern March 24-26.
