FOUR OAKS – Images captured by a trail camera outside a home helped identify a larceny suspect. On December 20, 2023 and January 12, 2024, the suspect reportedly went to a home on US 301 just north of Four Oaks and stole building materials valued at $370.
On January 21, 2024, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kenneth Johnson, age 56, of the 6800 block of NC Highway 210, Smithfield. Johnson was charged with four counts of misdemeanor larceny.
