  1. There are many food banks and other agencies ready and willing to assist people with food insecurities. There is no reason to steal from anyone- groceries or other. Time to start chopping off the hands of theives. More severe punishments required to keep these low life crooks out of our society.

    • I agree with chopping off the hands. The part that really gets me is $1,000.00 bond. That is a joke and so is the magistrate that gave the bond.

      • @jocoproud really? Where are these food banks. I’ve tried to help route folks and what is widely known are out of resources or they shuffle you. To socials services and they shuffle you to salvation army. These services do not help all like is assumed. Not defending this person’s actions or choices however stating that making that obvious type of comment with judgment is not as easy as it actually is. Of course you can type out answer that seems so easy. Real life is and actually finding these assistance programs are not. Maybe post something with details and guidance that could help the next person make better choices vs doing what that person did.

  2. America is a free country now rather y’all folks like it or not I rather deal with a shoplifting suspect then some kid shooting up my kids school or some pedi collecting child porn those are the real dirt bags and as y’all say crooks and there parents are even more of a disgrace why don’t we get those kind out of #OUR country

    • Bill, What you are saying is apples and oranges.. They both are breaking the law, just at different levels. I agree no one wants to deal with shooting up kids in schools, but that is no comparison to shop lifting, so don’t put them in the same situation. Shoplifter in the end cost consumers a lot of money with rising prices to cover this. School shootings are at a much higher level of crimes. Personally, we shouldn’t have to deal with either.
