Buies Creek – Campbell seniors Greg Milhouse and Dalton Dillon have both accepted invitations to play in postseason bowl games.
Milhouse, a defensive tackle from Garner, will take part in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, while Dillon, a fullback from Colfax, NC, was a part of the FCS National Bowl.
The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl is the premier post-season all-star game for draft-eligible college players. The week-long schedule provides participants with a first-class professional experience while introducing them to the business of the National Football League.
The game will be played at the StubHub Center on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills in Carson, Calif. on Saturday, January 23, and will be broadcast on ESPN2.
The FCS National Bowl was played December 7 at Florida International’s Ocean Bank Field at FIU Stadium. The game showcases draft-eligible college players from non-FBS conferences.
After earning Second Team accolades in 2014, Milhouse took a First Team All-PFL spot in his senior season, recording 49 total tackles, with 12.5 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks. Milhouse posted at least one tackle for loss in 10 of 11 games this season, and ranks among Campbell’s career top-10 in sacks and tackles for loss after just two seasons.
Dillon was a three-time All-PFL performer, including a second team member as a senior in 2015. The fullback posted 137 yards rushing with a touchdown, as well as 21 yards receiving on the year. He was also a two-time Academic All-PFL honoree, taking second team accolades this season.
