SMITHFIELD – Officer Conner Capshaw is the newest member of the Smithfield Police Department. Officer Capshaw received his official Oath of Office from Mayor Andy Moore during the January 23 meeting of the Smithfield Town Council.
Capshaw attended Campbell University and completed Basic Law Enforcement Training in 2013 at CCCC in Sanford. He has been serving in law enforcement ever since.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his son and family, as well as playing in the worship band at his church.
Officer Capshaw, we wish you a safe and long career with the SPD. Rember, you have a Chief who is a good guy so do not take orders from Mike Scott who thinks he still is Chief but again good luck.
Mike worked for the Fire Dept not PD.
Mike Scott was the Police Chief before he became the town manager.
