The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several car break-ins.
A total of five vehicles were entered while parked on Cambridge Elm Drive and Hawthorn Drive in the Weston Woods Subdivision off Cleveland Road. The thefts were discovered Sunday, but could have occurred overnight Saturday.
The victims reported numerous items were removed from their cars including GPS units, jewelry, medication, a Samsung notebook, cell phone chargers and accessories. The total value of the items stolen was estimated at $1,700.
