Car Crash Damages Fence
SELMA – An eastbound driver on NC 42 East lost control of her vehicle just east of Thanksgiving Fire Road, Thursday afternoon.
The passenger car crashed through a fence then traveled about 75 yards before driving through the fence again, crossing both lanes of travel then down an embankment. The car struck a tree and stopped.
The driver was not injured.
NC 42 traffic was disrupted with one lane closed following the 3:30pm mishap.
The State Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
