Car, Electric Bike Collide On NC 42 East

CLAYTON, N.C. – A 25-year-old electric bike rider suffered minor injuries Saturday afternoon in a collision with a passenger car on NC 42 East near Buffalo Road.

The accident occurred in front of the Percy Flowers Store.

According to initial reports, the passenger car was turning into the store parking lot when it collided with the small electric bike.

The rider sustained minor injuries. The occupants of the passenger car were not injured.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol investigated the collision.
