BENSON – A man traveling from Durham to Kenansville wrecked his car while traveling on Interstate 40 in Johnston County. The single car crash happened around 4:00am Sunday near the 323 mile marker.
The driver lost control of his vehicle which struck the inside guardrail and overturned. He was not injured.

The driver was cited by the State Highway Patrol.
The Elevation Fire Department and Johnston County EMS responded to the scene.
