SMITHFIELD – Police responded to a break-in discovered Friday morning, Feb. 17 at Clean and Quality Cars, a used car dealership located at 390 W. Market Street.
Smithfield Police said someone forced entry into the office and stole several dealer registration plates, and the keys to a used car on the lot. The stolen license plates were found inside the used car, still parked on the lot. The keys to the car were taken by the suspect or suspects and not recovered.
Police continue to investigate the break-in.
