One person was injured in a single vehicle accident Friday morning on Galilee Road near Packing Plant Road outside of Smithfield.
A black car ran off the roadway, struck a ditch bank and overturned coming to rest on its roof.
The driver was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The NC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. WTSB Photos
