Car Stolen From Smithfield Convenience Store Parking Lot
SMITHFIELD, N.C. — A Clayton man’s car was stolen from a Smithfield convenience store parking lot Saturday morning, police said.
The 34-year-old victim left his Toyota running while stopping at Speedway, 2103 S. Brightleaf Blvd., around 5:54 a.m. March 14. When he returned, the vehicle was gone.
Raleigh Police later recovered the car, but a 9mm handgun that had been inside was missing.
Smithfield Police said they are following up on leads in the case.

Might not be from JoCo. Most JoCo people know better. From wherever,,it is dumb to leave gun in car and the doors unlocked.
