Minor injuries were reported when two cars collided Wednesday morning on Highway 70 at Highway 70-A near Princeton.
Princeton emergency crews were dispatched to the 6:15am collision reporting a very serious crash involving multiple vehicles. Fire and EMS workers arrived to find a jackknifed tractor trailer. The semi did not collide with two others car that did run into each other.
The busy intersection was partially blocked for about an hour until the damaged vehicles could be towed away. The semi was able to drive away.
The NC Highway Patrol and Johnston County Sheriff’s Office also responded to assist with traffic. Photos by John Payne
