Clayton Police have not filed any charges in connection with a two vehicle accident Sunday night on US70 Business at Robertson Street.
Police said a 2014 Ford driven by Jane Floyd Roberts of Page Street, Clayton and a 1996 Honda drive by Austin Colon Hogg of W. Main Street, Clayton collided at the intersection around 5:40pm.
Both drivers told officers they had the green light. Officer T.C. Shattuck said the traffic signals appeared to be working properly at the time of the accident.
Roberts and Hogg were treated at the scene by Johnston County EMS but were not transported to the hospital. The collision backed up eastbound traffic on US70 for more than an hour until the wreckage was cleared from the scene. Photos courtesy JoCoFire.com
