Cause Of Home Fire Released

GARNER – Fire departments from Johnston and Wake counties responded to a residential fire at 306 Princess Drive, off Pierce Road, in the Cleveland community. The fire was reported around 8:30pm Tuesday.

Johnston County Fire Marshal Ryan Parker said the fire originated from a wood heater in use at the residence.

No injuries were reported but the home was extensively damaged.
