Fire crews from Johnston and Harnett counties responded to a house fire Monday morning between Benson and Dunn.
The fire was reported on Tilghman Road.
Firefighters from the Benson, Dunn, Erwin, and West Johnston Fire Departments responded to the scene to extinguish the flames.
A family of three were living in the home. They are now being assisted by the Red Cross.
The Harnett County Fire Marshal’s Office was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the early morning blaze.
