Central Baptist Church Invites Community To Easter Week Events

DUNN, N.C. – Central Baptist Church is inviting the community to take part in a full week of Easter events designed for all ages, leading up to Easter Sunday on April 5. From midday gatherings during Passion Week to a family-friendly Easter celebration and Sunday worship services, the week offers multiple opportunities to pause, reflect, and experience the message of Easter.
Passion Week Services (March 30–April 3)

Each weekday at 12:00 PM, local churches will gather at the Cumberland Street Center for a one-hour service focused on the message of the cross and resurrection. These lunchtime services are open to the public and feature local community pastors across all denominations. Attendees are invited to step away from their day for a time of worship and reflection.
Good Friday Student Worship Service (April 3, 6–8 PM)
Students in grades 6–12 are invited to a night centered on prayer and worship, reflecting on the significance of the cross in the Student Building. Dinner will be provided.
Easter Eggstreme (Saturday, April 4 at 11:00 AM)

Families with children from infants through 5th grade are invited to Easter Eggstreme, a free community event hosted by Little KidCentral and KidCentral Ministries. The morning begins with a kickoff in the Tabernacle, followed by egg hunts, inflatables, and hot dogs. This event is designed to be fun, welcoming, and easy for families to attend.
Easter Sunday Services (April 5)

Easter Sunday at Central Baptist Church will include three service options:
9:00 AM – English Service (Tabernacle)
10:00 AM – Bilingual Spanish/English Service (Chapel)
11:00 AM – English Service (Tabernacle)
Each service will include live worship and a clear, hope-filled message centered on the resurrection of Jesus and what it means for everyday life.
Central Baptist Church offers a welcoming environment for guests, even for those who have not attended church in a long time. Families are welcome, with nursery available for infants through age 5 during the 9 and 11 AM services.
