CenturyLink Reports Communication Cable Theft

MICRO – Johnston County deputies are investigating the theft of a communication cable owned by CenturyLink. A CenturyLink representative told officers the theft occurred sometime during the day Friday, September 9th from the 3200 block of Micro Road West.

The suspect or suspects removed 300 feet of communication cable from the power poles. The cost to replace the cable was estimated at $15,000.
