DUNN – The City of Dunn had visitors from China Thursday, May 11. Specifically, The Godwin Group, headquartered in Dunn, hosted the executives.
The company they represent provides cast steel components and machined items to the Dunn company. The men toured both Godwin Mfg. and Champion Hoist, both part of The Godwin Group which makes dump bodies and truck equipment.
At lunch, the guests went to Heath’s where they all particularly enjoyed cheeseburgers. Its a shame when they can’t get their raw materials from a company in the US. Maybe they can, but won’t.
