Selma Baptist Church provided back to school luncheon for the staff of Selma Elementary School on Tuesday, August 18.
Church members cooked, served staff, and provided door prizes. Selma Mayor Cheryl Oliver provided a cake and shared words of appreciation to the staff. Dr. Dicky Parrish presented principal, Suzanne Mitchell, with flowers in recognition of her JCS Principal of the Year Award.
“We sincerely appreciate Selma Baptist and Mayor Oliver for not only a delicious meal, but for their support of our school and staff,” said Mitchell. “We need and welcome community involvement in our school.”
