A shipment of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) donated by Clayton High School was delivered Tuesday to Johnston Health by Principal Dr. Bennett Jones.  Clayton High Health Science teachers Mareva Taylor, Kristen Gibbens and Shelley Lane heeded the call, knowing these supplies would not be used this school year and were willing to help the health care providers in Johnston County.

Dr. Ben Williams, Superintendent of Johnston County Schools approved the donation. Clint Eaves, Director in the Central Office helped facilitate.

Rep. Donna White of Clayton also assisted.  “”The hospitals and other health care providers in the county are very appreciative for these much needed PPE supplies.”

Other principals in Johnston County are expected to deliver additional PPE’s to Johnston Health later today.
