The Clayton Chamber of Commerce has recognize Clayton Middle School teacher Jennifer Thorne as their SUPER STAR Teacher for the month for September. SUPER STAR teachers demonstrate excellence and leadership in their classroom, creativity and motivation of their students and show a high level of commitment to our community.
Jennifer serves as the Clayton Middle School Improvement Team Chair and planned an incredible open house to jump start the new school year. She demonstrates leadership both in the classroom and with the school staff and with parents.
Jennifer challenges not only her students, but also herself and those around her with innovative classroom instruction. She strives to expand her instruction plans to align with research based best practices. Her positive impact is felt daily by other staff members, her students, her parents and our community.
