Clayton Police Chief Greg Tart and members of the police department traveled to Wake Med in Raleigh on Wednesday to visit Jada Miller and her family. Jada was hit by a car while crossing Glen Laurel Road on September 18, 2021.
Jada remains hospitalized and is still recovering from the accident.
Clayton Police took Christmas gifts to the teen and her family along with birthday gifts for Jada. Her birthday is today, Thursday, December 23.
