Clayton To Unveil Draft Plan For I-42 Front Door

CLAYTON – The Town of Clayton invites the community and stakeholders to attend and share their input at the unveiling of the Gateway 42 draft plan.

The Gateway 42 draft plan is a product of the Gateway 42 campaign that aimed to collect feedback from Clayton residents, business owners, and stakeholders. The input provided at previous listening sessions has helped shape the new draft plan.

“We have assessed the values, goals, opportunities, and challenges present within the Gateway 42 community. We are excited to present our comprehensive draft plan and continue refining this vision to make the town the best it can be,” said the Town’s Planning Director Ben Howell.

According to Howell, the new I-42 will be one of the most important routes to enter Clayton, and the area around this crossroads will be a key gateway to the town and one of its major faces.

This floating event will be held Thursday, June 8 from 6 p.m. – 8.pm. at the Clayton Community Center, located at 715 Ameila Church Rd.

Following the unveiling, the Gateway 42 Plan will move into the adoption process beginning with the Town of Clayton Planning Board in late summer.

  1. The only thing the town of Clayton is doing is appeasing the requirements. The 42 quarter has already been planned and approved in backroom deals and then put from citizens is a crock-a-bull
