The Clayton Police Department is searching for the individuals responsible for an early morning armed robbery of the Walgreens located at 11306 US Hwy 70 Business West.
Three individuals wearing masks and gloves entered the Walgreens around 5:30am Thursday, March 18, and forced the manager to turn over an undisclosed amount of money and numerous prescription narcotics.
No employees were injured during the incident.
The suspects were last seen leaving the area in a light in color, four-door passenger vehicle and traveling West on US 70 toward Wake County.
