A Johnston County convenience store clerk was arrested Friday morning for allegedly stealing lottery tickets from the business.
The theft was reported Tuesday from the Scotchman Store at 12320 Highway 210, Benson at Interstate 40.
Johnston County deputies said a store security camera reportedly captured the worker, Marketa Nicole Kemp, 30, of Clayton remove 11 lottery tickets valued at $20 each without paying for the items.
Kemp was charged earlier today with felonious larceny by an employee.
