Cleveland High School Senior Marika Samuelsson was awarded a place in the Levine Scholars Class of 2021 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
The Levine Scholars Program is UNC-Charlotte’s most prestigious merit scholarship and covers tuition, fees, room, board, books, a service grant and four summer experiences. The total value of the Levine Scholarship exceeds $105,000.
The program is extremely competitive and only 20 students nationwide are selected as Levine Scholars each year. Levine Scholars are selected based on demonstrated passion for learning, the capacity for ethical leadership and a commitment to community service.
Marika plans to major in biomedical engineering next year at UNC-Charlotte.
