Boy Scout Troop 29, chartered by the Kenly Kiwanis Club, presented Reese Coley with his Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in Boy Scouts.
The ceremony was held Sunday at the Kenly Free Will Baptist Church.
While a Boy Scout, Reese was awarded the Order of Arrow, and held several positions in his troop including Assistant Patrol Leader, Troop Guide, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Senior Patrol Leader.
Reese is the son of Scout Master Chip and Suzanne Coley. He is a senior at North Johnston High School and is a member of the Varsity Soccer team, DECA, Honors Chorus, Youth Volunteer of the Year, and All State Chorus.
