Construction Workers Held At Gunpoint During Robbery

WILSON’S MILLS – Police are searching for two suspects who held two construction workers at gunpoint. It happened around 6:40am Monday, Nov. 18 at a construction site at 1492 Cole Road.

Construction workers caught two thieves breaking into this cargo container stealing copper tubing at 1492 Cole Road around 6:40am, Monday, November 18. The suspects held the employees at gunpoint and attempted to steal their cellphones before fleeing.

Wilson’s Mills Police said two employees arrived at work to find two thieves loading copper tubing into the back of a gray pickup truck. The tubing had just been stolen from a cargo container at the job site.

When the employees confronted the two suspects, one of the thieves pulled out a small black handgun and demanded the employees handover their cellphones. The employees did not comply.

The suspects jumped in the pickup and fled westbound on Cole Road.

The first suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 22 years old, wearing a hard hat, black hoodie and blue jeans.

The second suspect was a black male, approximately 22 years old, wearing a black hoodie.

Wilson’s Mills Police said the two suspects left this Hilti DSH 600x handheld gas saw at the scene. The saw is believed to be stolen but has not been reported stolen to law enforcement.

Police said the suspects left behind a Hilti DSH 600x handheld gas saw. Police believe the gas saw may be stolen, however no one has reported a similar saw being stolen in the area.
