County Will Temporarily Waive Water Well Testing Fees

Johnston County officials announced Monday they will temporarily waive fees to test private wells used as a drinking source that have been flooding during Hurricane Florence.

Citizens who have concerns or suspect your well may be contaminated can contact the Johnston County Environmental Health Department at 919-989-5180 for guidance and water storage procedures.

Bacteriological water sample fees will also be temporarily waived for testing flooded wells in the county.
