A Johnston County couple living in a shed behind a relative’s home were the victims of a robbery.
A 21 year-old man and his 21 year-old girlfriend were in the shed on Old Fairground Road near Benson around 11:00pm Monday when they heard a knock on the door. When they opened the door they were confronted by four men armed with a baseball bat.
The suspects stolen a small amount of cash and a video game system worth about $200 before fleeing. The suspects were described as three white males and one black male. They fled in a vehicle but the victims could not give Johnston County deputies a description of their car.
There are no suspects in the case.
