The JoCoReport Crime of the Week takes us to Wayne County, where a Johnston County woman was the victim of a crime while dining in a restaurant.
On May 25th, a 41 year-old Smithfield woman was inside a restaurant on Berkley Boulevard when someone was able to steal her wallet. They immediately began making numerous charges on her credit cards at various stories in Goldsboro and Princeton, including the Target, CVS and Handy Mart. Later, charges were discovered at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh.
More than $1,943 in charges were made to the victims credit cards were made before they cards could be reported stolen. Photos released by Goldsboro Police show two individuals wanted for questioning for the incidents.
