Daughtry Signs With UNC-W

PRINCETON – Averie Daughtry, a senior at Princeton High School, has signed to continue her education and play softball at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. 

Averie was named NC 2A District 3 player of the year in 2022, and was selected for the 2022 All-State Team.  She is a power hitter, and plays third and first base. 

Averie is very excited to continue playing softball in college and can’t wait to be a Seahawk. 

Averie is the daughter of Gray and Amie Daughtry of Princeton.
