The Johnston County Board of Education made appointments to five school advisory boards during their December monthly meeting.
Sandy R. Jones was appointed to the Corinth Holders High School Advisory Board for a term ending in June 2019.
Denise Bridges was appointed to the East Clayton Elementary School Advisory Board for a term ending in June 2018.
Nair Hernandez was appointed to a term on the Cleveland Elementary School Advisory Board ending in 2020.
Four individuals were reappointed to the Powhatan Elementary School Advisory Board for terms ending in 2020. They included Jennifer Jones, Stuart Lee, Lori Pugh and Nailah Alston.
Five candidates were appointed to the West Smithfield Elementary Advisory Council. They included Jena Lewis, Melissa Senter, Alisa Bizzell, Anne Koebley and Kimberly Byrd.
