Deputies Investigate Theft From Clayton-Area Church

CLAYTON, N.C. — The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported break-in at a church near Clayton.

Authorities said the incident was discovered March 29 at Little Creek Fellowship, located at 2585 Little Creek Church Road.

A church member reported that a storage shed on the property had been forcibly entered. Deputies said two weed eaters and two backpack blowers were stolen.

The value of the stolen equipment was estimated at $1,400.

Investigators believe the theft occurred between 2 p.m. March 28 and 9:30 a.m. March 29.

Damage to the shed’s entry door was estimated at $30.
