Deputies Make Arrest In Storage Building Break-In

JOHNSTON COUNTY — A Harnett County man was arrested after deputies said he broke into a storage building on private property in Johnston County.
Johnston County deputies responded around noon Jan. 15 to a home in the 1100 block of Massengill Pond Road, Angier, a western Johnston County address, after a 55-year-old resident reported someone had broken into a storage building on his property.
Deputies identified Cortas McKnight, 30, of E. Jay Street in Coats, as the suspect. McKnight was arrested and charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering. Authorities said no items were reportedly taken from the building.
McKnight was released from custody on a $500 bond.
