A Princeton woman is facing felony charges after stolen power tools were reportedly found at her home.
Johnston County deputies went to the home of 48 year-old Debra Ann Dixon on Old Rock Quarry Road on Friday. Dixon refused to allow officers inside.
Deputies left the home but while conducting surveillance on the residence allegedly saw Dixon walk out the door with several power tools, including a weed eater and edger, and placed them in a field across from her home.
Officers immediately seized the items and then returned with a search warrant to look for more possible stolen goods inside her home.
Dixon allegedly told officers the tools belonged to her landscaper but she was unable to give detectives the name of her landscaper.
She was charged with felony possession of stolen property and felony conspiracy. She was incarcerated in the Johnston County Jail under a $50,000 bond.
