CLAYTON – A shoplifting suspect is accused of biting and injuring a Johnston County deputy sheriff.
It happened at 4:35pm Saturday, June 14 outside Tractor Supply at 4255 Veterans Parkway.

Ronald A. Henry, of Penwood Road, Willow Spring is accused of shoplifting a $6.99 sushi veggie roll from a nearby Food Lion then going to Tractor Supply where he walked out the store without paying for a $106 container of livestock fly spray concentrate.
A deputy sheriff was dispatched to investigate the shoplifting. He located Ronald Henry nearby. While taking with the 55 year-old suspect, Henry began fighting with the officer.
During the struggle, Henry reportedly tried to grab the deputy’s holster handgun. He also bit the officer on the hand.
The deputy was able to deploy his taser and place Henry in handcuffs.
Henry was charged with felony assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and two counts of misdemeanor larceny.
Hope the Deputy make a full recovery, and the bitter has some good jail time.
There are some rough characters and criminal activity from Penwood Rd.
That Battery on a Police Officer should add some time for this genius.
I mean, you know you’re going to jail, so why stack time? Perhaps the tazer experience was educational.
Now that’s being hangry!
Here comes the riff raff into JoCo.
This fool was lucky he didn’t get shot…
