Grand Opening slated for February 2021
Discount Mobile has signed a 5-year lease agreement for an outparcel building located at 729 N. Brightleaf Blvd. in Pine Needle Square in Smithfield.
With a planned February 2021 grand opening, this independent mobile phone provider wrote proprietary software to provide mobile service coverage, like the national players, at discounted rates.
Discount Mobile President Robert Holland said, “When the opportunity to locate at Pine Needle opened up, I jumped at the chance. I’m excited to be a part of the newest remodel in Smithfield, and the landlord has been great to work with.”
According to Holland, the Pine Needle Square location will serve as the launching point for Discount Mobile’s franchise model, with five store openings planned by the end of 2022.
Adventure Development began making major exterior renovations to Pine Needle Square in mid-November, with work anticipated for completion by spring 2021.
