SMITHFIELD – Do you know this individual? The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is searching for this person in connection with a residential break-in reported on Yelverton Grove Road, just east of Smithfield.
On Friday, May 5th around 3:30pm the unknown black male suspect reportedly kicked open the side door to a home and made entry. The burglar was tall, wearing a black shirt, black shorts, white sneakers and red gloves. He left the home in a red Chevrolet passenger car.

That’s the problem. Hs will probably be out before the ink is dry on his processing paperwork. He’s probably looking for something to sell for drugs, etc
