A Benson man said someone stole his dog after breaking into his home.
The 33 year-old victim said he was in the process of moving from a home on Beaver Creek Drive. Around 3:00pm Friday he was at the residence and had fed his 2 year-old pit bull before leaving. When he returned around 8:45pm Friday night he discovered the front door to his house had been kicked in.
His dog, which was kept inside the home, had been stolen but no other items were missing. The dog was valued at $500. There are no suspects in the case.
