Downtown Clayton Concert Series Brings Hank Williams Jr. Tribute Band To Town Square

CLAYTON — Fans of classic country music and Southern rock will have a chance to enjoy a free evening of live entertainment when the Downtown Clayton Concert Series returns to Town Square on Thursday, Aug. 13.

The featured act, All My Rowdy Friends featuring Nicholas Vernon, will perform from 6 to 9 p.m. at Town Square, located at the corner of Main and O’Neil streets.

The nationally touring tribute band celebrates the music of Hank Williams Jr., performing many of his biggest hits along with other outlaw country and Southern rock favorites. Led by Nicholas Vernon, the group is known for energetic performances that recreate the sound and spirit of one of country music’s most recognizable artists.

Activities begin at 6 p.m., with live music starting at 6:30 p.m. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy an evening in downtown Clayton.

Food trucks will be on site throughout the event. Family-friendly attractions will include a bounce house and photo booth for children.

The concert is free and open to the public.
