Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation Welcomes New Executive Assistant

SMITHFIELD – The Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation (DSDC) has named Teasha Barth as the newest member of their team. Teasha has joined DSDC as a part-time Executive Assistant, bringing with her extensive experience and a strong commitment to public service.

Originally from New Kent County, Virginia, Teasha spent nine years in Local Government, working in the Tax Assessor’s Office as a Real Estate Assessor before becoming the Personal Property Tax Director. Her background in administration and public service makes her a valuable addition to our organization.

Teasha moved to Johnston County in 2023 and is eager to get involved in the community. A proud mother of three and grandmother of four, she and her husband enjoy exploring North Carolina and discovering all it has to offer.
