Dr. Eric Smith from the Smith Chiropractic Center in Smithfield appeared live on WTSB Radio on Thursday.
Dr. Smith is skilled in treating conditions affecting the neuromusculoskeletal system, chiropractic pediatric and maternity care, nutritional counseling and rehabilitation. Dr. Smith treats patients injured in car accidents, work injuries, sports injuries, or those with chronic conditions including back pain, headaches, and neck pain.
Dr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree from National University in San Diego and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. Dr. Smith graduated Summa Cum Laude and was his class valedictorian. Dr. Smith is a member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Association and Pi Tau Delta International Chiropractic Honor Society.
Dr. Smith said he takes a “whole person” approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms.
When Dr. Smith has free time, he enjoys riding his motorcycle with friends.
