SMITHFIELD – Police are investigating a single car accident in the Smithfield city limits. The crash was reported at 9:16pm tonight (Tuesday) on W. Market Street near NC Highway 210.
A black Chevrolet Corvette was traveling westbound on W. Market Street when the car ran off the roadway to the right, striking a utility pole and fire hydrant.
The driver was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
This is the same black corvette that passes everyone in the turn lane on Durwood hwy in front of ncscu. He got what he deserved.
