CLAYTON – In an odd coincidence, a car involved in an earlier Johnston County motor vehicle accident Thursday was involved in another accident approximately 3 hours later.
The second accident was at the Old US 70 Business and Shotwell Road intersection near Clayton.
Authorities said that although the driver was not charged earlier, she was charged with DWI after failing to stop for a red light at the intersection, T-boning a large SUV that overturned on its side.
All three occupants in the small silver car were transported to area hospitals. The SUV occupants were uninjured.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged in the accident.
Thank God that the public that expects to be safe has been brought down to a third world country!!!
