Driver Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash

JOHNSTON COUNTY – Authorities have identified the driver killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in northeastern Johnston County, near the Nash County line.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, 36-year-old Randy Creech of Middlesex was driving a pickup truck northbound on Friendship Church Road when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway. The truck struck a ditch, overturned, and ultimately collided with a tree before coming to rest on its roof.

Creech was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and died at the scene. He was the only occupant in the vehicle.

Prayers.
Smartphone use while driving is just as dangerous as DUI. WHEN is the state or Federal government going to do something about it? We’re all paying the price.
How do you know he was using a phone?
This comment is completely unnecessary. How do you even know he was using his phone when the crash happened??
