A Friday afternoon single vehicle wreck sent one man to Wake Med in Raleigh with unknown injuries.
The driver was traveling in the 13900 block of Highway 96 North in the Corinth Holders community when he ran off the road, struck a driveway culvert, went airborne and then overturned.
Crews from the Corinth Holders Fire Department extricated the driver who was briefly trapped inside the vehicle. Johnston County EMS transported the accident victim to the hospital.
The NC Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
