Drug Investigation Results In Arrests

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — Four people were arrested March 20 after deputies executed a search warrant at a residence near the Wake County line, according to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
The agency said its narcotics, major crimes and property crimes divisions searched a home on Mark Lane, Raleigh as part of an ongoing investigation. Authorities noted that a person died at the residence on March 17 from a suspected drug overdose. That death remains under investigation.
During the search, deputies seized about 22.5 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine along with multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
Three individuals — Ryan Matthew Bushey, 41; Megan Marie Coble, 33; and Talmadge Lee Stainback, 45 — were each charged with two counts of maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance. They also face single counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of up to one-half ounce of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A fourth person, John James Green, 39, was charged with felony possession of stolen property after investigators said a stolen Honda four-wheeler was found in the yard and linked to him.
Five other individuals at the residence were questioned but not charged. Deputies also reported locating six dogs on the property.
The investigation into the suspected overdose death is ongoing.
